This is the first glimpse at the new
'Frontier Airlines' Airbus A-319
branding. Leaving their type design virtually unchanged, this aircraft was brought to
life as a fully developed 3-D model to give unlimited control in fine tuning
many specific characteristics including; livery, markings, light source, light
temperature, atmosphere, reflectivity, perspective, foreshortening, and
distortion of the airframe itself.
Along with the climbing cost of jet fuel as a factor, there are some images
virtually impossible to capture even with the best air to air photographer,
equipment, and multi-million-dollar chase plane. Many times it is much more
practical to create a custom 3-D model from scratch, such as in the case of
Frontier's Airbus A-319 flagship branding.
