Working closely with author, Naomi Gaede - Penner, Project Coordinator, Craig
Lincoln, Editor, Dr. David Wells, and Joe Jones, of Art Works Studio, the
team set out to create a beautiful era cover that would both complement the rich
story of her life growing up as homesteaders with her family in the
wilderness of Alaska, and create a strong graphic brand and look the would carry
throughout the planned five book series.
With a bright red "Piper - Family Cruiser" as their main means of transport
in a place where it wasn't uncommon to be greeted by a dog-sled team upon
landing, this new edition weaves a wonderful tale of survival, family and aviation
heritage. This edition is slated to hit the book shelves in 2006. |
