This original
illustration was created for the cover of the direct mail
flyer for the First Aurora Asian Film Festival, an event
sponsored by the Denver Film Society.
The piece was printed
in two colors on glossy stock. The bamboo and the girl were
traditional sketches brought into Photoshop and composited with
digitally generated elements to create this bold, dynamic and
highly effective promotional piece.
The clients were
so pleased with the results that posters were also printed and
distributed. The Festival was a great success, we look forward to
1999 and another great event.
